We took a walk to the Cathedral in my city and walked the grounds and enjoyed the church be Happy Easter Sunday from me and my confirmation sponsor/boyfriend 🙊

So blessed to have him and his influence ☺️. I remember the text I sent him almost a year ago that I wanted to go to church with him once the lockdown was over. I remember his shoc First time making palm crosses. My church did not give them out this year but my boyfriend's church did!

#palmsunday #catholiclife #catholic #catholicconvert #catholicchurch A week late but the homily I heard on the second Sunday of Advent really spoke to me. I have never been to confession and the concept of confession did not have anything to do with speaking to another human before my conversion.
Though I would love My session of RCIA was yesterday Nov 9 and I am so excited to continue on. The first topic was the Trinity which is not a new concept for me since I have come from a Protestant church that taught about it.
I'm eager to get into new information and l I've been looking forward to this for months now, RCIA is finally starting in a local parish. My first meeting will be in a few days and I am eager to get started. I can't wait to start but I'm even more excited to finish and finally enter the Church I've been OBSESSED with the rosary since my conversion. I decided to try to pray the rosary back in April when everywhere was closed and I had no income so I worked with what I had. I had those letter beads and string and I made my first rosary.
Sin Back to studying!
I've been off my grind for the past few weeks. I'm trying to build the discipline to stay on track and continue learning more and more.
I've been sick the past few days and missed my first week of mass since I started attending bac This past week my boyfriend gifted me my first icon. She is so lovely!
#mary #rosary #catholiclife #catholicconvert #catholic Still on that prayer grind. Working on memorizing the prayers and the mysteries I have most of the prayers down but the longer ones I'm still getting stuck on.
I've missed a few days here and there I have been working on a routine to make sure I kee The blessed is she planner starts this week so I'm challenging myself to pray the rosary daily. I have an hour long bus ride to work most days so i have the perfect opportunity to fill in that time with something meaningful! I'm excited to see the po (Picture taken before Mass started)

My view from the church pew today. I am absolutely in awe of this beautiful imagery of Mary, Queen of heaven. The atmosphere of this space was so full of reverence and helped feel more in touch with heaven and the Sunday, July 12, 2020.
This was my first time experiencing Mass while recognizing real presence communion. I was very uncomfortable in the Church I felt anxious and awkward being there and I felt a kind of shame, feeling like I'd abandoned my church Paws off my religion 🐾

As someone who was a previous Catholic "canceller" I understand the perspective catholic haters have towards the Church. I think a lot of the tention stems from Western arrogance in North America. As someone who doe "'Love those that hate you' and you will have no enemy." (Didache 1)
Today I got a call from an older lady from my former Protestant church asking why I haven't been to church. I've been dreading talking to her because she means so much to Today I'm reading about the intercession of the saints in heaven. This is a teaching that is different than how I previously practiced my faith.
Reading the Bible in a different perspective than I used to make the Bible seem like a whole new book. M Another Sunday spent outside the Cathedral. My anxiety is getting the best of me I fear going into the Church and observing Mass. I pray for the boldness to enter into the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
It's funny because I've been in this chur Praying outside of the church this morning. I'm not a member of any church to I can't sign up to attend due to the restrictions during the pandemic. I'm anxiously waiting for restrictions to be lifted. #catholic #catholicchurch
